Is LED illuminated map ready to use?

Your delivery package contains two main sets.

SET#1 - WOODEN ELEMENTS comes with:
*map * instalation template *clear instruction *15 magnets *expansion bolts *drill bit and mounting glue.

SET#2 - LED ILLUMINATION comest with:
*transformer *wiring *instruction *quick connectors *remote and controller which allows to regulate the light intensity

IMPORTANT NOTE: customer needs to provide 6 power sources (12V) on the destined wall. For best final result we strongly recommend to hide all the wiring inside the wall. Because of the LED strap, wooden elements of the map are 8mm separated from the wall.

From what kind of material maps are made of?

Wooden World Maps are made from solid wood, same as table tops. Material is 20mm thick. Wood is dried, moisture level of wood is from 9% to 14% even that, map is made from natural wood which could warp due to humidity changes. This is completely natural process, even if some liitle parts would warp, after few weeks everything would be back to normal. If you notice any changes at your map please contact us, describe your problem and we will help you to sort it out or send you a new map.

Does my wall need any special preparations for map installation?

Destinated wall needs to be perfectly dry - so be aware of it if you are going to paint/refresh the wall before installation. Walls usualy needs 7 days to dry after painting.
In the delivery package you will find universal expansion bolts which can be used on any kind of the wall.

FOR LED ILLUMINATED MAPS: as above, and just carefully read the instruction that will be added to your delivery package. The most important thing is to provide 6 power points on the wall (LED points on the template) and be sure that those 6 wires that provides power supply to the map are not crossing magnet installation points.
